Protecting Your Child's Teeth with Sealants

The Kid's Dentist will help keep your child cavity-free by applying quality dental sealants to their teeth. Sealants “seal out” food and plaque from the pitted and grooved surfaces where tooth decay usually occurs. Depend on our 35 years in practice for flawless sealant applications.

Our family owned and operated practice guarantees all sealants placed on our patients. We’ll reapply sealants FREE of charge as long as your child is seen by our office regularly every six months.

Our sealant treatments offer you the most value for your dollar since they can last many years if they are properly cared for by your child. Compared to the cost of treating tooth decay, sealants are a far less expensive option. Check with your insurance provider to see it they have age or specific tooth limitations.

Sealant application is a quick and comfortable. It takes just one visit to our office. The tooth is cleaned, conditioned, dried and then the sealant is applied directly onto the grooves of the tooth and hardened with a special light. Your child will be able to eat right after the appointment. 

It is our recommendation that the teeth most at risk for decay should be sealed. These include the six and twelve year molars. Primary molars and any tooth with grooves or pits may also benefit from sealant coverage.
