Meet Christopher A. Rozhon, DMD
Dr. Chris grew up in Elmira, NY before moving to Brewerton, NY. He attended Paul V. Moore High School in Central Square, NY. Dr. Chris continued his education, graduating Magna Cum Laude from SUNY Oneonta with a degree in Biology. He also attended The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in Pittsburgh, PA and continued on to complete his pediatric specialty residency there as well. During his dental residency, Dr. Chris received advanced educational training in both Orthodontics and specialty training in mild to moderate conscious sedation for the pediatric and adolescent patients.
Dr. Chris is passionate about dentistry and keeps current in the profession through memberships to a myriad of dental organizations including: The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), The American Society of Forensic Odontology (ASFO), The American Dental Association (ADA), The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA), and The American Orthodontic Society (AOS).
Dr. Chris is also a member and former president (University of Pittsburgh Chapter) of The American Academy of Sports Dentistry and Traumatology. In addition, Dr. Chris has established pediatric board certification as a diplomate by The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD). Further, he is a Forensic Odontologist at the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office in Syracuse, NY and a member of the Onondaga County Dental Society (fifth district).
When Dr. Chris is not caring for your child’s dental health, he enjoys exercising, fishing, golfing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, and Syracuse Basketball.
